Quwet El Hob (The Power of Love), a new Arabic reality dating series on Amazon Prime Video, features the first-ever Sudanese contestant on a dating show.
Reem, 21, works in social media management and creative direction. Before joining the show, her professional experience was largely tied to social media. She describes herself as straightforward and someone who knows exactly what she wants.
From the beginning, Reem appeared to find a promising match in fellow contestant Khaled, from Lebanon. Her storyline frequently centres on their relationship and the drama surrounding it.
Filmed in Turkey, the series features nine men and nine women from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), including Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Sudan and Iraq, who move into a shared house in search of true love. As they get to know one another, the series follows their developing relationships, emotional connections, jealousy, confrontations and eventual breakups.
Streaming exclusively on Prime Video, the popular ongoing reality dating series is also available on YouTube, where its first two-hour episode has already garnered more than one million views. New episodes and clips are widely shared on the official Quwet El Hob YouTube channel and Instagram page.
