Al Wifaq Al Qatari Hospital Reports Sudanese Architect Hassan Abdelraheem Abtoud, Over 100, Remains in Good Health

Sudanese architect Hassan Abdelraheem Abtoud, from Tangasi in Sudan’s Northern State, has lived beyond the age of 100 and remains in stable health without any reported chronic diseases, according to Al Wifaq Al Qatari Hospital.

Al Wifaq Al Qatari Hospital is a private medical facility located in Al-Debba, Tangasi, in Sudan’s Northern State. The hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care, general healthcare services, surgical procedures and specialist consultations, including visiting neurosurgery services. It has also been referenced in regional medical research examining patient care and surgical preparation standards in Northern Sudan.

According to Dr Mohamed Ahmed Ismail, Abtoud remains in good health and follows a regular diet. He also continued working in agriculture well into old age, maintaining an active lifestyle throughout much of his life.

Medical staff continue to monitor his health at home. During a recent visit to his residence, a specialised medical team assessed his condition, with follow-up visits reportedly conducted on a monthly basis.

Abtoud’s case has attracted attention because of his longevity and reported absence of chronic illnesses, while his continued agricultural activity into advanced age has been cited as part of his active lifestyle.
