We’re looking for talented, fun, and versatile writers and bloggers to cover anything and everything related to Sudan and South Sudan. Whether you’re an aspiring writer hoping to get published or a skilled storyteller seeking a wider audience, we want to hear from you. You don’t have to be Sudanese. If you have a story, perspective, or insight about Sudan or South Sudan, we encourage you to get in touch.
Please read our submission guidelines below before submitting your story pitch or work along with your name, occupation and other relevant activities you’re involved in – blog/website address and social media, etc.
Submission Guidelines
- We highly recommend submitting a story idea or pitch first, rather than a completed article.
- Your pitch should focus on Sudan and/or South Sudan.
- We only accept original work, submitted by the writer themselves.
- We do not consider previously published work.
- If submitting a completed article, please include a title/headline and your full name, along with a short bio at the end.
- Articles must be a minimum of 500 words.
- We do not publish poetry, spoken word, research papers, or academic papers. Research or academic papers may be considered only if rewritten and reformatted as a feature article suitable for our platform.
