Sudan secures a hard-fought draw against the defending champions Algeria 0-0 on Wednesday, 3 December 2025 at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
It’s Sudan national football team’s first game in the the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™. Algeria took on Sudan in the first Group D match.
Sudan dominated possession and registered more shots on goal but couldn’t convert their chances.
Both teams took one point from the match and remain winless in the tournament.
Sudan’s next fixture is against Iraq on Saturday, 6 December at 7 pm at Stadium 974. Iraq currently tops Group D with three points.
The FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™ is being held in Doha from 1 to 18 December 2025, with 16 national teams competing across six stadiums that previously hosted matches during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
