Mona Kattan of KAYALI Cares Donates USD250,000 to Aid Sudan

Mona Kattan, co-founder of Huda Beauty and founder of Kayali Fragrances, announced a USD250,000 donation to support urgent medical response efforts in Sudan.

The contribution marks the first donation made through her new philanthropic initiative, KAYALI Cares, in support of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, aiding teams that have been on the ground for years delivering life-saving care under some of the most challenging conditions.

The Dubai-based Iraqi-American entrepreneur launched KAYALI Cares on 29 December 2025 as part of her brand, Kayali Fragrances, to support causes such as humanitarian aid and women’s health, marking the brand’s commitment to purpose-driven action and giving back after becoming an independent company in early 2025.

Her support for Sudan is a focused humanitarian effort that reflects a commitment beyond business. Kattan has encouraged her community to pray for Sudan and support relief efforts on the ground amid challenging conditions, highlighting the urgent need for life-saving care. Both Mona and her sister, Huda Kattan of Huda Beauty, have also publicly shown support for Sudan and Palestine.

Mona is married to Dubai-based Sudanese entrepreneur Hassan Elamin in February 2022. Both Mona and Kattan joined the cast of the Netflix reality series Dubai Bling for its second season in 2023 and third season in 2025.
