We Choose Peace is a global campaign being coordinated to mark the 1st anniversary of South Sudanese independence. There are rallies taking place around the world, a joint statement, endorsed by over 150 global organisations calling for peace in and between the two countries, a website where people can upload photos (www.wechoosepeace.org) and a Twitter campaign with the hashtag #choosepeace.
