Jokes for Sudan: A Benefit Show

Sudanese-American stand-up comedian Samir Abdul will turn laughter into direct support for families displaced in Al Fasher, Sudan on 3 March 2026 at Zanies Chicago.

Produced by Abdul in collaboration with Northwestern University’s Center for Responsible Technology, Policy, and Public Dialogue, the event will feature surprise guest comedians (some you’ve seen on Netflix & HBO Max 👀). 100% of ticket proceeds + additional funds raised through GoFundMe will go directly toward helping civilians affected by ongoing violence.

Abdul was born in Darfur. He built his comedy career in America. Now he’s using that stage to give back.
